This genuine Kenwood Chef Sense Complete Splashguard Assembly contains the Head Shield & Splash Guard which fit to your machine's head at the top of the Main Bowl.

Your Kenwood machine's Main Bowl Outlet rotates the extension, and itself rotates to reach all areas of the bowl. The nature of the moving parts involved means that if moisture or food deposits were to build up and reach them, they could jam, rust or damage the moving parts in another way, preventing the extension from rotating or spinning.

Your Kenwood machine generates considerable force during mixing, and can cause lighter mixtures to spill from the edges of the bowl, especially at faster settings. Use the Splashguard to help ensure that your expensive and important mixtures do not spill, reducing the amount available and creating unnecessary cleaning work.

To fit:
After fitting the whisk, beater or hook extension, fit the Head Shield to the underside of the head, and then slot in the Splash Guard to ensure your mixtures stay inside the Main Bowl, and do not spill onto your work surfaces or into your drive system.
